In this module my discussion topic will be on explaining the structures of Integument and their associated function. Structure of integument is commonly known as accessory structure of the skin. Hair follicles, connective tissues, nails, sebaceous glands and sweat glands are included in this skin structure (Kardong, 2016). They are mainly originated from the outer most layer of skin called epidermis but these are extended to hypo dermis followed by dermis which are the rest two layers of skin. The integument system is the largest organ of the body that is skin and it has accessory structures.
